Dr Fayyaz Khan is a Senior Consultant Psychiatrist with extensive experience across the United Kingdom and Australia, specialising in general adult psychiatry, addiction psychiatry, ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). He provides comprehensive, evidence-based mental health care tailored to each patient's needs.
Dr Fayyaz Khan began his psychiatric training in the United Kingdom, where he was awarded Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) and completed an MSc in Psychiatric Practice at the University of Hertfordshire in 2011. He obtained his Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in General Adult Psychiatry in 2015 and has practised as a Consultant Psychiatrist since then.
After relocating to Australia, he was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP). He has since built a diverse clinical background across both public and private healthcare settings, including mental health wards, psychiatric intensive care units, community mental health teams, acute care teams, addiction psychiatry, and services for ADHD and ASD.
His treatment approach integrates medication management, psychological therapy and social interventions, tailored to each patient’s circumstances. Alongside his clinical work, Dr Fayyaz Khan has a strong background in research, teaching and medical education, and has authored several publications. He is multilingual, speaking English, Urdu, Hindi and Pashto.
