Dr Bokey is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrist with Certificate of Advanced Training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
She has worked exclusively with children and adolescents for over twenty five years in both the public and private sector, specializing in the diagnosis and management of major mood disorders, anxiety disorders, eating disorders and early psychosis.
She has also authored a series of therapeutic books – The Ryan O’Brien series – helping children cope with emotional loss and trauma and the common schoolyard challenges of finding friends, dealing with bullies and being different in some way.
Dr Bokey has also worked in the Western Sydney Medical School as Head of Student Wellbeing.
