Dr Trainor is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists, and a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, United Kingdom. He obtained his medical degree at King’s College London, and after working in several medical and surgical specialties, completed training in various psychiatric and neuropsychiatric settings in the UK, New Zealand, and Australia. He has provided pro bono psychiatric services for asylum seekers, served as a hospital ethics committee member, and as an honorary lecturer to medical students. His interests are in general psychiatry, forensic psychiatry, and neuropsychiatry.
